Travel Tuesday: New York City

It was bound to happen, I had to talk about my favorite city of all time: New York City. I have a whole different level of love for this city than the one I live in right now. Eventually I want to live here, but for now trips are how I cure that desire.
New York City is one of the most fascinating cities there is, I think. It has so much culture, history, nightlife, and activities. It is also definitely one of the busiest and touristy cities too. It attracts people from all places to come experience the activities, nightlife, and more.

It definitely is the city that never sleeps. There is constantly something that is going on, even into the late hours of the night. I have also never once felt unsafe there. Even late at night when I have walked out to explore and back to the hotel or apartment we were staying in.

Between the Statue of Liberty, the World Trade Center, the 9/11 Memorial, Wall Street, the Financial District, Central Park, Subways, Times Square, Museums, Baseball, Harlem, and much much more, there is something for everyone. It is a city that caters to all, that kids love, that adults love, that college aged students love. It is definitely a family friendly vacation, partying vacation, or just a relaxing vacation if you want it to be.

New Years Eve is a big time to vacation over there. It is currently on my bucket list of things to do and one day I will. Until then, I will watch at home in the comfort of my bed.

The food they have there is also amazing. From Italian to Delis, it is definitely something write home about. As a fan of Italian food, New York definitely has some of the best. They are a city full of Italians and that helps. New York Pizza is also some of the best. From the little Delis on the side of the street to get a slice, it is the best part about visiting.

I have no plans to go back at the moment, but I am sure I will soon. My heart belongs there and I can't wait to venture back.

Have you ever been to New York? Would you want to?

  1. I absolutely love New York City and I always refer to it as my home away from home. Such a lovely post – it made me miss New York City even more than I already did x
