Travel Tuesday: Walt Disney World

This weeks travel Tuesday is the beloved Walt Disney World. So it's not exactly a state, or technically a city, but it is so big that it could be considered a city in a way. You never have to leave the property because everything you need or want to do is there.

I've been to Walt Disney World before, so this isn't exactly a new place that I want to travel to. However, it is always changing and because of that, I want to constantly go back. Lucky for me I am planning a trip to return this October. I am super excited for it and can't wait.

The property itself offers 4 completely different theme parks, 2 water parks, a shopping district, tons of restaurants, quite a few resorts at all different prices, a McDonald's, miniature golfing, and much much more. There is so much to see and do that it is nearly impossible to do it all in one trip. You constantly have to go back just to experience all there is offered.

I've currently been twice in my life. Once when I was 8 and again 12 years later. It was definitely a place that was unforgettable.

Planning a trip is hard work. I'm returning on Halloween and have been planning this since before Christmas. So almost a year of planning for a 7 day trip. In the end it is completely worth it.

From restaurants themed to Beauty and the Beast, to roller coasters that are based off of Aerosmith, to parades and entertainment with Tinkerbelle, to Star Wars shows and fireworks, to animal safaris, there is something for everyone in the family and no disappointments.

There are so many things to plan: dining reservations, fastpass reservations, what park you'll do each day, resort you'll stay at, etc. These are all things that need to be done at specific times. It's a lot of work.

I'm excited to go back to Walt Disney World this year and continue to plan trips.

Have you ever been to Walt Disney World? Would you ever go?

    1. It is probably the best vacation! I love Disneyland out here in California, but WDW definitely feels more like a vacation to me.
